Global Optics, in conjunction with Opticom developed the bar code ordering system for the Optical Community. This created an outstanding automated ordering system.

Global members enjoy the benefit of ASN (Advance Ship Notice), along with the UCC-128 bar code label affixed to every shipment lets the receiving lab update their inventory without having to open the cartons and scan each individual item.  This greatly enhances stock room efficiency.
